'Hawaii Five-0' Scene Spotting — It's war

The team must solve the murder of a Hawaiian warrior — or, rather, a war reenactor. He's actually a builder of ships, which allowed locals to relive the saga of the Superferry, an interisland craft that was shut down under similar protest a few years back. Thanks to the writers for the trip down Memory Lane.

And here's where they filmed:

• Quick shots of various points along the Koolau Mountain range.
• The team building exercise is at the back of Kualoa Ranch, as well as the Hawaiian warrior reenactment.
• McGarrett's C-17 lands at Marine Corps Base Hawaii at Kaneohe Bay.
• Several quick shots of gorgeous Oahu locales: Aloha Tower, the breakers at Sandy Beach, surfers just off the Sheraton Waikiki, the Gold Coast next to Diamond Head.
• Danno is efforting a fritatta at McGarrett's house, aka the Bayer Estate in Aina Haina.
• Quick shot of the Nuuanu Pass by the Pali Highway.
• It's down to Bishop Museum to solve the riddle of the Hawaiian artifact fragment.
• Nice overhead of Ala Moana Beach Park toward Waikiki.
• An overhead of McGarrett's Camaro driving through the Kapahulu neighborhood, and it looks like that's where they staked out gust star Apolo Ohno, rather than Waipahu.
• Back to Aliiolani Hale in downtown Honolulu — Five-0 headquarters.
• Honolulu Harbor for the shipyard scene.
• They may have tracked Urthstrike to Kailua, but the motorcycle chase just thereafter was back in town, through the streets of Iwilei to Honolulu Harbor.
• Kono meets our vic's widow outside the downtown Post Office.
• Kono is walking out of Hawaii's Department of Transportation building. Hard to mess that one up.
• Fantastic sunset shots of Waikiki.
• Happy hour with the gang at Tropics Bar & Grill at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

The Quotable Danno

Lots of bromance moments and Danno quips galore:

• "Great. You killed my fritatta."
• "You have an aneurysm on your face. Why?"
• "I call it an invitation to chafing." — responding to Chin's description of the Hawaiian malo.
• "You might want to pull your guys back from that house."
• "Unfortunately, Seth probably is just an opportunistic dumbass after all."
• "Book me a towel."
